How do I determine if my Andis product is under warranty?
The warranty period begins from the date of purchase so be sure to retain your purchase receipt for verification. Please refer to the Use and Care pamphlet which is enclosed with your product for warranty specifics. Andis product is warranted against defective material or workmanship.
Are there any products that are not under warranty?
Yes.
  1. The manufacturer’s warranty is void on purchases of used product. Only Andis products that are purchased new are covered by the Andis limited manufacturer's warranty. Please refer to the Use and Care pamphlet which is enclosed with your product for warranty specifics.
  2. Product purchases from the following unauthorized 3rd party sellers are not covered under the Andis’ manufactures warranty:

My product is still under warranty, how can I get it fixed or replaced?

Ship your warrantied product directly to Andis: No prior authorization or authorization number is necessary. Wrap product so it's not damaged in transit. If sending in a clipper or trimmer, keep an Andis blade on the unit. Put it in a sturdy shipping container. Include a note inside the container with your name, address, phone, email address and what the product issue is. If the product is still under warranty, include a copy of the sales receipt showing the item and date of purchase; keep your original receipt for your records. We recommend you use a trackable shipping method such as UPS Ground, FedEx Ground or USPS Flat Rate Boxes. We do not confirm receipt of product. Please utilize the tracking information for the shipping method you chose. Shipping cost is the responsibility of the customer and is not refundable.

Can I extend my product's warranty?
We currently do not offer extended warranties. Please refer to the Use and Care document which is enclosed with your product for warranty specifics.
Can all clippers and trimmers be repaired?
The majority of clippers and trimmers can be repaired. However, depending on the price of the repair and shipping, it may make more sense to simply buy a new unit.
How much does it cost to repair my clipper or trimmer?
Fees for repairs vary. However, below are general guidelines for repair fees based on the model of your unit:
Level 1: $20.00 (AAC-1, AEE, D7/D8, GO/GTO/GTX, LCL, RT-1, SLII/SL3, US-1)
Level 2: $50.00 (ML, MBG-2)
Level 3: $75.00 (AG/AGC, AGR+/BGR+, AGRV/BGRV, BDC, BGC/BGS, FHC, ORL, RBC, DBLC/DBLC-2, SMC/SMC-2)
Level 4: $100.00 (HC, HP, LG-3/LG-5, RC)

How do I pay for my repair?
If your product is sent directly to the Andis factory in Wisconsin, only credit card payment (Master Card, Visa and American Express) is accepted. A repair representative will phone you for credit card information. Andis does not accept cash or checks as payment. If using an Authorized Andis Service Station, contact them directly for payment options. Beginning May 1, 2019 we will require payment to be made on any repairs prior to service being started. Once your unit arrives at our facility, a Customer Service team member will contact you for payment. Please contact 1-800-558-9441 with any questions.
What if my product is not repairable?
For product that is not repairable and still under warranty Andis will replace it.
Is there a repair station in my area?
There are Andis Authorized Service Centers in many locations. View Andis Authorized Service Centers.
Where can I have my Andis product repaired?
Repairable product may be forwarded to any Authorized Andis Service Station or to the Andis factory for repair. View Andis Authorized Service Centers. Remember the repair time will vary, so please contact your Authorized Service Station before sending the unit in for repair. Repairable product, still under warranty, may be forwarded direct to Andis for repair. Please note that the repair time will vary.

How can I register my product?
It's easy! Just visit the Andis website's Product Registration page to enter your information. The warranty period begins from the date of purchase so be sure to retain your purchase receipt for verification.
How long will it take to repair my clipper?
Not including transit time to and from our factory, repairs typically take 7-10 days once we’ve received your item.
